Xerxes. We have intruders. You know what to do.
his eyes opened as his cryotube did, and the images he saw were not what he was expecting. Equipment, alien to the compound was on, some lights beginning to pulse brightly, indicating an alarm.
Try to get a link to the outside world, and wake the rest of the team, SEED. I'm making my way to the armory.
He stalked out of the hole in the wall they had made to get into the cryochamber, and began making his way through the halls. He was silent, careful and made sure that the people who did see him were quickly and silently disabled with hand to hand techniques. No point in killing them if they weren't hostile.
He slowly felt the others awaken, their minds suddenly able to be touched by his own, and when they did, he began speaking directly into their minds.
I am assuming emergency command as of this moment. There are intruders in the compound. I repeat, intruders in the compound. Secure equipment and a base of Operations within the compound, then find a way into their systems and equipment. We need to know who they are, what they are doing here, and what information they've gathered on us. SEED is currently attempting to connect with the outside world to aid in this. I am currently making my way to the armory to secure armaments and additional equipment. Do not directly engage the intruders unless absolutely necessary, and do not use lethal force, incapacitate only. We do not know if they are hostile yet or not.
A panel opened on the wall in front of him and he strode through it, the door silently closing behind him. he moved quickly, opening the first locker and getting out red shorts and a sleeveless shirt, slipping them on. Then, with grim determination, he began opening the other lockers, getting bags, guns, and other pieces of equipment he was sure they would need, and more guns. Lots of guns.
How can I put this politely? « Reply #1 on Jun 11, 2009, 9:36pm »
Waking up in cryo was not designed to place Kayonga in a good mood. Waking up in cyro to Xerxes voice made it worse. He was taking command? The traitorous bastard hunted them down like animals and now he informs Her he is taken command? Kayonga Zbigniew, one of the original 12, leader of the Alpha War was not going to take orders from any upstart semi-sliced aberrant genome project.
The cermaglass shielding of the tube raised up and Kay drunkenly stumbled out of it. The lights were harsh on her eyes, creating the pinpricks of tears, and she rubbed at them. Kayonga turned sideways hacked an spat up some greenish phlegm. Yup, went right from regene into cryo. She was gonna be hacking this shit up for weeks. Under and uncontrolable urge Kay grabbed the cermaglass sheild and with a grunt of effort and screech of tortured metal she ripped it from the wall, hurling it outside of the hole that someone had made in their attempts to get into the cryo room.
"Fuck!" Kay's breasts heaved in rage as she moved to the computer systems that had been set up within the room. Utterly indifferant to the movement around her she kicked one of the terminals, toppling it and the desk it had sat upon, she grabbed one of the desk steel legs. The metal screamed as she twisted it, snapping the bolts holding it in place, she moved towards the blast hole.
Her voice was both audiable with ears and with in all of their minds, "Fuck off you traitorous cunt. I took you out once for treachery...This time Nef isn't gonna save your puckered ass."
Kayonga wraith was a tangable thing as she moved down the hallway, not towards Xerxes, but in the opposite way. She knew he'd be armed before she could get to him...No, there was another way to skin this cat. Keir wasn't the only one who knew how to make things explode. When a secruity guard, or solider, or whatever he was came around the corner Kayonga skewered him with the desk leg threw the chest. All in the defiance of Xer's orders. His illegal orders as far as she was concerned. The guards eyes popped wide and blood frothed in a heavy spray from his mouth as he tried to scream.
She spun and kicked out with her right leg, sending the young man flying into the hallway wall with a satisfying thud and cracked tiles. Kay slowed just enough to pull his holstered rifle off his chest by flicking the sling off the butt of the weapon. Kay eyed it as she walked down the hall, simular to the venerable M16A in size it wasn't a weapon she was familar with. Larger caliber rifle, closer to the .6.8 than the M16's 5.56...She shrugged, checked the chambered, frowned at the soliders stupidty at haveing a slung rifle with a round in the chamber and then raised the stock to her right shoulder. The barrel pointed across and low as she moved down the hall oblivious to the fact that she naked and dripping the blood of the innocent.
Nefertiti rubbed her eyes as she stepped out of the cyrotube. The screech of tortured metal turned her head as Kay ripped the tube cover off. She arched a brow in response, glancing at Maria when Kay kicked over a terminal and plucked a flying pen from the air. Her free hand twisted her long hair up into a knot at the back of her head, "Fuck off you traitorous cunt. I took you out once for treachery...This time Nef isn't gonna save your puckered ass."
Her lips pursed at that. It was technically the group that had saved him, but attempting to talk to Kay at this point wasn't possible. Nefertiti looked at Keir, “Make sure she doesn't bring the place down on our heads to soon.”
Nefertiti's words didn't enter her mind, were not broadcast as she moved towards the blast hole, “Maria, see what those computers will tell us, please.”
She looked at Than and Lazarius for a long moment before frowning at Lazarius. Nefertiti didn't trust him, he wasn't of her team, a new addition from Seed. “Take Laz with you Keir, please, keep Kay in line but don't interfere too much with her whims.”
Nefertiti's dark eyes would seek to lock on to Keirs' gaze for a moment before looking at Laz with the same emotion found in the depths of space, “Than, come with me. I'm sure we'll need a medic.”
A darkness had crept into Nefertiti's heart and mind when Xer had first started searching them out, retrieving them. She had thought she knew her team, knew how they would act and react to outside variables. She could hear Than's bare foot steps in lock step behind her as they headed towards Xerxes. Nefertiti looked at Than from the corner of her eye...They could have been in cyro for centuries without knowing it and Seed could have done anything in that time.
She brought her gaze forward as Than glanced at her when they stepped over an inert human laying semi-conscience on the flow. A swift back kick to the underside of the mans head sent him back into the darkness without slowing her steps, “Your going to let Xer remain in charge?”
Than's voice, it's rage, was softer than Kay, but it was there like the smell of rancid meat. The door of the armory was ahead, “Even if I was dispute it I wouldn't be the one to take command.”
“Bullshit. Frag'im or I will.”
“Shut up, Winta.”
Nefertiti moved into the armory a head of Than and didn't acknowledge Xer's presence beyond moving around him to get dressed herself. She pulled on pale yellow tights and matching tank top while Than glared daggers. For a moment, as Nef subtly watched the medic, she considered the Corps idea of terminating Than and Kay's models a sound one. They were loose cannons.
Than dressed in quick movement in blue pants and t-shirt, pulling a medical backpack from the wall containers and putting it on before retrieving two M19-11 .45 Kimber hand guns and their holsters. She strapped them to her waist and only after a thoughtful pause did she take a down a M1014 combat shotgun. Sliding in 6 buck shot shells she filled and ammo belt with the rounds and slung that over her shoulder before slinging the shotgun. The barrel across her hips and point at the floor as she watched Xer like she would a bug locked in a box.
She slung a Berreta SC70/90 over her shoulder, snapping down it's collapsible stock. An older automatic rifle, to be sure, but it had the same armor penatrating round as the M16, but had the added bonus of being an ambidextrous weapon. Which allowed her sling another one across her other shoulder. Xer could talk about non-lethal methods all he wanted, but when it came down to it the one with the most guns wins.
A sound, harsh and klangon started blaring through the compound, echoing into the armory from the hall. Not SEED's alarms, but the alarms of the intruders. Someone had obviously found either Xer's handy work, or Kays. Nef smirked, slightly, as she slammed 30 round detachable box magazines into the rifles, “What now, Sir?”
Nefertiti face devoid of all thought or emotion as she looked at him. Her toneless voice if anything seemed even more detached and emotionless. She was looking at a dead man even if she wasn't the one to do it.
